Saturday's Powerball jackpot leaps to $364,000,000; Two players won the second prize

No one won Wednesday night's Powerball lottery drawing, worth $336,000,000, bringing the projected jackpot on Saturday to $364,000,000. The cash value stands at a projected $$179 million. The numbers from Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 drawing were 25-32-43-53-66 with Power Ball number 10. The Powerball jackpot has been rolling over for 22 draws since Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in CA, matched all six numbers for a 44,000,000 top prize.
While the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were two lucky tickets matched the first five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time.
