Without a grand prize winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has rolled over the jackpot to $161,000,000 for Saturday night's drawing. The cash value will be a projected $$75.2 million. Nobody hit all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $143,000,000 grand prize Wednesday. The next Powerball lottery drawing will be at 10:59 PM Saturday night. The numbers from Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 drawing were 17-34-56-60-61 and Powerball number was 09.
While the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were a total of 5 third prize winning tickets. There were 1 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 178 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 49 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! There were 425 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 154 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also bought the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
