The jackpot for Saturday Powerball increased to $253 million (lump-sum cash payout $172.7 million) after no player matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number Wednesday night. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, May 26th, 2021 were 02, 08, 21, 34, 62 with Power Ball number 16.
Although the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was a single lucky player that correctly matched the first 5 lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) bought in Texas, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 18 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 404 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 100 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, and also chose the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 906 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 258 additional players not only matched 3+1, but also chose the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.

Powerball is an American popular lottery game sold in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game.
