A single Powerball winning lottery ticket worth $238 million was purchased in Florida

A lucky lottery player in Florida is holding a $238 million winning grand prize ticket from the most recent Mass Powerball lottery drawing. The numbers drawn Saturday night, March 27th, 2021 were 06, 14, 38, 39, 65 with Power Ball 06. The winning ticket holder will have the option of annuity payments for the entire prize amount of $238 million, or the cash payment of $159.8 million before taxes. The jackpot winner is highly suggested to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Together with the grand prize won on Saturday, many more people walked away with large winnings. A total of 19 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 13 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000.
In addition, 383 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 92 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Saturday night included 1045 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $100. 296 additional tickets of this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.

America's favorite Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the original prizes except grand prize. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
