No one hit the jackpot last night. Saturday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $750,000,000

There was no ticket sold matched all six winning numbers in the last multi-state Powerball game draw, and the estimated grand prize for Saturday's drawing will rise to $750,000,000, lottery officials announced. The cash option stands at an estimated $$357.3 million. The numbers from Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 drawing were 13, 22, 27, 54, 66 and Powerball number was 09.
Although the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. 33 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. These included 27 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 646 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 144 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! 1672 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 467 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
With 9 different prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 1,236,695 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game sold in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Powerball uses a 5/59 (white balls) + 1/35 (Powerballs) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout instead.
There were 38,159 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Massachusetts.
