No jackpot winning ticket sold last night. Powerball jackpot leaps to $521,000,000 Saturday

The MUSL lottery official announced that the Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, POWERBALL's drawing resulted in a rollover, producing a $521,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Saturday. The cash option will be an estimated $$249.6 million. The numbers from Wednesday night, March 6th, 2024 were 06-19-28-44-60 with Power Ball number 10. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 28 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a 810,000,000 top prize.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. 14 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Other winners Wednesday evening included 329 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 106 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but in addition bought the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Wednesday night included 922 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 302 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With 9 prize tiers, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 683,807 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball lottery uses a 5/59 (white balls) + 1/35 (Powerballs) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. The minimum Powerball jackpot is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years. Winners may select one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
