There were no Powerball jackpot winners for Wednesday's $154,000,000 dollar drawing, so the grand prize will leap to $171,000,000 with the cash value at a projected $$81.4 million Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. The numbers from Wednesday night, July 31st, 2024 were 23, 34, 37, 50, 58 with Power Ball 07.
Though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There was a single lucky player that matched all 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in CA will collect $1,000,000 cash.
Other major winners Wednesday evening included 7 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 4 additional players not only matched 4+1, but in addition bought the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. To play Powerball, choose 5 numbers from a set of 59 and pick one Powerball number from 1 to 35. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the original prizes but not jackpot. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners may choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
