Powerball jackpot breaks to $1,700,000,000 Saturday night; 15 second prize tickets sold

The grand prize in the multi-state Powerball drawing climbed to $1,700,000,000 for the Saturday drawing. The cash option will be a projected $$770.3 million. None of the tickets sold for Wednesday's $1,400,000,000 drawing matched six winning numbers. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, September 3rd, 2025 were 03-16-29-61-69 with Power Ball 22. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 41 draws since Monday, June 2nd, 2025. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in CA, matched all six numbers for a 207,000,000 top prize.
Although there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There were 15 lucky winners matched the first 5 lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The four ticket(s) in MI(1), OR(1), TX(1) and WY(1) matched all five numbers with the Power Play for an incredible 2 million dollar cash win!
