Powerball jackpot increases to $200,000,000 Saturday night; 2 players won the second prize

Saturday's Powerball lottery grand prize rolled up to $200,000,000, because nobody matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night. The lump-sum cash payout for Saturday will be an estimated $$90.7 million up for grab. Wednesday's $178,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The winning numbers from Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 drawing were 06, 12, 28, 35, 66 with Power Ball 26.
While the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were 2 lucky winners correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) bought in AZ(1) and NC(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 8 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000.
