The Powerball multi-state lottery grand prize increased to $248,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$122.5 million) Saturday night when there were no top prize winners in the $228,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 drawing were 12, 21, 62, 67, 69 and Powerball was 17. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past sixteen draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. A single lucky player from Michigan won the 810,000,000 grand prize in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There was a sole 2nd prize winner from Wednesday night's drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Powerball number. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in Georgia, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 5 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 6 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
