Powerball jackpot rolls up to $88,000,000; 1 player won the second prize

The grand prize for Saturday Powerball game leaped to $88,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$41 million) after no player matched all six numbers Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, December 18th, 2024 drawing were 06-15-18-33-49 and Powerball was 07.
While the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There was only one lucky ticket matched the first 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) sold in CA, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
