Powerball jackpot goes to $90 million Wednesday, April 21st, 2021; 3 second prize tickets sold

The Powerball grand prize increased because no player matched all 5 white ball numbers plus the Powerball number from Saturday night's $79 million drawing. The next grand prize leaped to $90 million for Wednesday night's drawing. The cash option stands at $62.3 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Saturday night, April 17th, 2021 were 10-21-26-41-49 with Power Ball 25. The Powerball jackpot has been rolling over for 123 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a $70.00 million top prize.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 3 second prize winning tickets from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first 5 lotto numbers except the Powerball number. The three second prize winning ticket(s) sold in Florida(2) and Texas(1) won 1 million dollar cash.
Additional major winners Saturday night included 8 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. The minimum Powerball grand prize is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners may select one lump sum cash payout instead.
