Massachusetts Powerball News and Payout for Monday, June 23rd, 2025 Drawing
The Powerball multi-state lottery jackpot jumped to $140,000,000 (cash value $$63 million) Wednesday night when there were no jackpot winning tickets in the $128,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Monday, June 23rd, 2025 drawing were 05, 25, 42, 44, 65 with Power Ball number 20.
Although the grand prize was not hit Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were a total of 7 3rd prize lucky winning tickets with or without Power Play option. These included 6 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Also, 141 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 44 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Monday evening included 320 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 101 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With nine different prize tiers, the Monday night's drawing created 272,887 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball lottery uses a 5/59+1/35 matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to buy the Power Play option, which increases the prizes but not grand prize. The odds of winning any prizes are about 1 to 32. The chances of matching 6 Powerball numbers are about 1 in 175 million. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners can choose one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
