Saturday's Powerball jackpot leaps to $44,000,000; Two players won the second prize

With no winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball game grand prize will be worth $44,000,000 (cash value $$19.7 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Saturday. The amount carried over because no one matched all 6 numbers to win the $30,000,000 grand prize Wednesday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, June 4th, 2025 drawing were 05, 17, 23, 35, 45 and Powerball number was 24.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were two lucky players that matched the first 5 numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in MD(1) and NY(1) won 1 million dollar cash.
