The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing soars to $234,000,000

The grand prize in the Powerball multistate lottery game continues climbing and is going to be up to $234,000,000 for the next drawing on Saturday. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$106.6 million. The amount was rolled over because no player matched all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number to win the $216,000,000 jackpot Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday night, July 9th, 2025 were 05, 09, 25, 28, 69 with Power Ball 05.
Although there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were nine lucky players that matched all 5 lotto numbers and won the second prize. The 1 ticket(s) in TX matched the first 5 white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win! This is part of the Powerball game feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option doubling the second prize to $2 million cash.
