The grand prize in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game continues going up and will be up to a projected $205,000,000 for the next drawing on Tuesday. The cash value will be an estimated $$97.5 million. The amount was rolled over because no one matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $185,000,000 jackpot Friday night. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, October 18th, 2024 were 04, 09, 26, 39, 58 and the Mega Ball was 23, Megaplier was 4. Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past eleven draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in TX, matched all six numbers for a $800 million top prize.

Although the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. 11 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. These included 11 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

In addition, 249 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $150. There were 618 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $150.

With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 461,179 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, October 18th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. Roughly 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back to the players through prize winnings. Roughly 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operating costs. About 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the member lottery states. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the original prizes 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot starts at $12 million. The annuity option is paid in 26 equal yearly installments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout instead.
