One lucky player walked away with $515 million Mega Millions jackpot in Friday night's drawing

A single lucky winner in matched all six numbers in the Friday drawing and won the $515 million grand prize. The numbers from Friday night, May 21st, 2021 were 06, 09, 17, 18, 48 and the Mega Ball was 08, Megaplier was 3. The jackpot winner will now have to determine to either take the 26 equal annual payments with annual payment in the amount of $19.81 million before taxes, or the one time cash option in the amount of $346.3 million before tax withholding. The jackpot winner is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.

Along with the grand prize won on Friday, May 21st, 2021, Mega Millions created many more happy winners walked away with huge pile of cash. There were a total of 53 third prize winning tickets. These included 53 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

In addition, 1254 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $150. There were 3313 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $150.
