The cash value will be $46.3 million. Mega Millions' jackpot increased since no one hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number drawn Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday, March 5th, 2021 drawing were 10, 11, 17, 27, 54 and the Mega Ball was 20, Megaplier was 2. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 770 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.A single lucky player from Maryland walked away with $189 million jackpot in Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 drawing.

Even though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were two lucky players that correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The two second prize winning ticket(s) bought in will collect $250,000 cash each.

Additional prizes won Friday evening included 19 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. In addition, 471 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $150. 933 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.

With 9 prize tiers, there were 901,103 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, March 5th, 2021 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. Roughly 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back towards the players through prize winnings. Roughly 15% is used to as retailer commissions and lottery operation expenses. Roughly 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the member lottery states.
