Massachusetts Mega Millions lottery News and Payout for Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 Drawing

The Mega Millions multi-state lottery grand prize jumped to $55 million (lump-sum cash payout $38.1 million) Friday night when there were no jackpot winning tickets in the $43 million drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 drawing were 04, 08, 13, 34, 64 with Mega Ball 18 and Megaplier X2.

Although the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There were a total of 13 3rd prize winning tickets. These included 13 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 255 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $150. Other prizes won included 700 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $150.

With nine ways to win, there were 991,704 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 drawing.

Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a shared jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Mega Millions uses a 5/75 (white balls) + 1/46 (Mega Balls) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. The chances of winning are about 1 to 14. The chances of winning Mega Millions grand prize are 1 to 258,890,850. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot starts at 12 million dollar.
