The Mega Millions multi-state lottery grand prize increased to $137,000,000 (cash option $$64.5 million) Tuesday night when there were no jackpot winning tickets in the $116,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, June 28th, 2024 were 28-31-33-42-66 with Mega Ball 24 and Megaplier 3.

Though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There were a total of 5 third prize winning tickets. These included 5 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

In addition, 225 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $150. Other prizes won included 650 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $150.

With nine different ways to win, there were a total of 963,856 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, June 28th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a shared jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings occur 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Mega Millions uses a 5/75 (white balls) + 1/46 (Mega Balls) matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times but not grand prize.
