The jackpot for Tuesday Mega Millions moved to $97,000,000 (cash option $$46.4 million) after nobody hit all 6 numbers Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday, June 21st, 2024 drawing were 03-18-27-40-44 and the Mega Ball was 19, Megaplier was 4.

Although there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There was only one lucky ticket correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in TX, each won $250,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Other prizes won Friday night included 6 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Friday evening included 243 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $150. Other prizes won included 613 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $150.

With nine different ways to win, there were a total of 883,026 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, June 21st, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. Around 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players in prize winnings. Roughly 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operating costs. Roughly 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the participating lottery states. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is $12 million. Its annuity option is paid in 26 equal yearly payments. Winners can select one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
