There were no tickets sold matched all five white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number in the latest multi-state Mega Millions draw, and the estimated grand prize for Tuesday's drawing will grow to $243,000,000, lottery officials announced. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$108 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday, June 6th, 2025 drawing were 16, 40, 54, 56, 57 with Mega Ball number 03 and Megaplier x. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 21 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.

While the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. 10 third prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. These included 10 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Other prizes won Friday evening included 142 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $150. 402 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.

With nine different prize levels, there were a total of 553,794 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, June 6th, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions is played in 43 states and Washington DC. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back towards the players in prizes. About 15% goes to retailer commissions and lottery operation expenses. Approximately 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the participating lottery states. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play, select 5 numbers from a set of 75 then choose one Mega Ball number from 1 to 15. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is $12,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 26 equal yearly payments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout instead.
