There has been another rollover in the jackpot for the multistate Mega Millions - to $223,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$99.4 million up for grab. The grand prize grew because nobody matched all six winning numbers from Tuesday night's $202,000,000 drawing. The winning numbers from Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025 drawing were 16, 24, 29, 36, 45 with Mega Ball number 13 and Megaplier X.

Although the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. A total of 7 lucky winners won the 3rd prize. These included 7 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

In addition, 146 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $150. 488 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.

With nine prize levels, there were a total of 554,648 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back for the players in prize winnings. About 15% is used to as retailer commissions and lottery operation expenses. Around 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the participating states. To play Mega Millions, select 5 numbers from a set of 75 and choose one Mega Ball number from 1 to 15. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the winnings 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot starts at $12,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 26 equal yearly payments. Winners can select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
