There were no Mega Millions game jackpot winners for Friday's $72 million dollar drawing, so the jackpot will build to $82 million with the cash value at a projected $57.7 million Tuesday, July 6th, 2021. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, July 2nd, 2021 were 08, 31, 32, 34, 45 with Mega Ball number 19 and Megaplier 2.

Although there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were 2 lucky winners correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) purchased in , each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

In addition, 8 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Friday evening included 249 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $150. 652 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.
