The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has jumped up to $285,000,000 (cash option $$135.1 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Friday night. The jackpot amount has been rolled over because no one matched all 5 lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number to take the $262,000,000 jackpot Tuesday night. The winning numbers from Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024 drawing were 21-28-58-69-70 with Mega Ball number 20 and Megaplier X2. Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 13 draws since Tuesday, December 12th, 2023. The last jackpot was won by 2 tickets sold in CA(2), matched all six numbers and shared a $395 million top prize.

Though the grand prize was not awarded Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There were a total of 13 third prize lucky winning tickets. These included 13 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 280 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $150. Other prizes won included 661 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $150.

With 9 ways to win, there were a total of 1,036,152 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions lottery can be played in 43 states and Washington DC. It holds the record highest jackpot of $656 million in North American lottery history.
