Friday's Mega Millions jackpot jumps to $82 million; One ticket matched the first five numbers

The Mega Millions multi-state lottery grand prize increased to $82 million (cash value $59.9 million) Friday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $68 million drawing, lottery officials said. The numbers from Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 drawing were 07, 18, 21, 31, 40 and the Mega Ball was 09, Megaplier was 4.

Though the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was only one lucky winner correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in , each won $250,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

In addition, 25 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 443 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $150. There were 1238 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $150.

With 9 different ways to win, there were 1,386,706 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 drawing.
