Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $394,000,000 Friday night; Three players won the second prize

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has been pumped up to an estimated $394,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$188.5 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Friday night. The grand prize amount has been carried over since nobody hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number to take the $365,000,000 jackpot Tuesday night. The winning numbers from Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 drawing were 02-10-31-44-57 with Mega Ball number 10 and Megaplier 4. The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for seventeen draws since Tuesday, December 12th, 2023. Two lucky players from CA(2) won the jackpot in Friday, December 8th, 2023 drawing and shared $395 million.

Though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were three lucky players that matched all five lotto numbers and won the second prize. The three lucky ticket(s) purchased in CA,OH,PA, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Also, 17 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday evening included 337 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $150. There were 1013 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $150.

With nine prize tiers, there were 1,484,806 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game can be played in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. It holds the record largest jackpot of $656 million in U.S. lottery history.
