There were no Mega Millions lottery grand prize winners for Tuesday's 465,000,000 dollar drawing, so the jackpot will roll up to 510,000,000 with the lump-sum cash payout at $266.8 million Friday, December 23rd, 2022. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, December 20th, 2022 were 03, 04, 33, 36, 52 and the Mega Ball was 17, Megaplier was 4. The Mega Millions grand prize has been rolling over for 957 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.

Though the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were four 2nd prize winners from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all 5 numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The four lucky ticket(s) purchased in AZ,KY,LA,TX, each won $250,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 19 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 583 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $150. 1589 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. Approximately 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back towards the players through prizes. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the winnings 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is $12,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 26 equal yearly payments. Winners may choose one time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
