The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $825,000,000

The lottery official announced that the Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a rollover, producing an $825,000,000 jackpot for the next drawing Friday. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$382.2 million. The numbers from Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 drawing were 56-66-67-68-69 with Mega Ball 18 and Megaplier x4. Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 28 draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.A single lucky winner from TX won the $800 million grand prize in Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 drawing.

Even though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were 4 2nd prize winning tickets from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers except the Mega Ball number. The 4 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in CA(2),LA,OK won $250,000 cash each.

Other prizes won Tuesday night included 38 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 1249 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $150. 1965 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.

With nine prize levels, there were a total of 3,205,442 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 drawing.
