Two lucky players in won the $395,000,000 Massachusetts Mega Millions drawing Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday, December 8th, 2023 drawing were 21-26-53-66-70 and the Mega Ball was 13, Megaplier was 3. The winning ticket holders have the choices of 26 annuity payments, or the one-time cash option. The jackpot winners are encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winners have the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winners don't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.

Together with the grand prize won on Friday, Mega Millions generated more pleased winners walked away with large winnings. A total of 10 lucky winners won the 3rd prize. Among them, 10 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Other prizes won Friday evening included 282 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $150. There were 750 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $150.

The grand prize of next Massachusetts Mega Millions lottery drawing will be an estimated $20,000,000 with the cash option at $$9.5 million for Tuesday night.

Mega Millions can be played in 43 states and D.C. On average, 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players in prizes. Roughly 15% goes to retailer commissions and lottery operating costs. Around 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the participating states. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize starts at $12 million. The annuity option is paid in 26 equal annual installments. Winners can select one time lump sum cash payout instead.
