Tuesday's Mega Millions grand prize will be worth a projected $498,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$245.3 million), because no one matched all 6 numbers in Friday night's drawing. The winning numbers from Friday night, August 16th, 2024 were 22, 38, 48, 51, 61 with Mega Ball 05 and Megaplier 3.

Though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were two lucky players that correctly matched all 5 lotto numbers and won the second prize. The two second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in CA,NJ won a quarter million dollar cash each.

Additional major winners Friday night included 19 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Friday evening included 419 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $150. 1082 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.
