The Powerball lottery grand prize increased because nobody matched all six winning numbers from Monday night's $220,000,000 drawing. The next jackpot rolled up to $240,000,000 for Wednesday night's drawing. The cash option will be $$107.4 million. The numbers from Monday, January 6th, 2025 drawing were 17, 34, 46, 66, 67 with Power Ball number 14.
Although there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. A total of 11 lucky winners won the 3rd prize with or without Power Play option. There were 1 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Other prizes won Monday night included 170 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 60 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 489 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 149 additional players not only matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
