Friday's Mega Millions jackpot goes to $47,000,000; Four players won the second prize

The Mega Millions grand prize has been pumped up to a projected $47,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$21.8 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Friday night. The jackpot amount has been rolled over because no player matched all 5 lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number to take the $30,000,000 grand prize Tuesday night. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, June 11th, 2024 were 01, 05, 07, 22, 24 with Mega Ball number 08 and Megaplier X4.

Even though the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were four second prize winners from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all 5 numbers except the Mega Ball number. The four second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in GA,MA,NY,PA will collect a quarter million dollar cash each.

Other major winners Tuesday night included 18 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Tuesday night included 501 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $150. 1107 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $150.

With nine different ways to win, there were a total of 846,638 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, June 11th, 2024 drawing.
